The first wave spans 63 countries and regions including the U.S., UK, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Türkiye, the UAE, Vietnam, and more, with a second wave opening September 26. What’s new
iPhone Air is the new ultra‑thin model with a titanium design, Ceramic Shield 2 on the front, Ceramic Shield on the back, a 6.5‑inch 120 Hz display, and A19 Pro class performance, aiming to deliver a lighter, premium feel without giving up power. iPhone 17 brings a larger 6.3‑inch ProMotion display, the A19 chip, and a new Center Stage front camera in a straightforward upgrade that focuses on daily use wins like screen, speed, and selfies. The Pro models step up with A19 Pro, Apple’s latest pro camera and design updates, and longer battery life, which Apple positions them as its most advanced iPhones yet.
Starting prices
All four models now start at 256 GB, which helps explain some regional price shifts compared to older 128 GB bases.
Also up for pre-order
Apple Watch Series 11, Watch SE 3, Watch Ultra 3, and AirPods Pro 3 are also opening for pre-orders alongside the new iPhones, with general availability set for September 19 in the first-wave regions. In India, major retailers are participating with bank cashback and no‑cost EMI options in addition to Apple’s own trade‑in and subscription trials, which is handy if planning an upgrade today.
