Samsung just teased us with the Galaxy A07 reveal a few days back, but turns out that wasn’t the only budget phone in their pipeline. The Galaxy M07 4G specs have now surfaced online, and honestly, if you’ve seen the A07 already, these might look pretty familiar.
According to fresh leaks, the Samsung Galaxy M07 will sport a 6.7-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution (720×1600 pixels) and a 90Hz refresh rate. That’s decent for a budget phone, though don’t expect flagship-level sharpness here. The screen should handle everyday scrolling and basic gaming just fine.
Under the hood, Samsung’s picking the MediaTek Helio G99 processor for the M07. It’ll come paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The Helio G99 is a solid choice for entry-level phones — it won’t break any speed records, but it should keep things smooth for regular use.
Camera setup looks pretty straightforward. You get a 50MP main sensor on the back plus a 2MP companion camera. The front houses an 8MP selfie shooter. Nothing too exciting here, but the 50MP main camera should capture decent photos in good lighting conditions.
Battery life seems promising with a 5,000mAh cell that supports 25W fast charging. That’s the same battery capacity you’ll find in many mid-range phones these days, so expect solid all-day performance.
The M07 will run Android 15 right out of the box and Samsung promises six major OS updates. That’s pretty generous for a budget device. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner built into the power button, IP54 rating for basic water resistance, and the phone measures just 7.6mm thick while weighing 184g.
Here’s where things get interesting though. These specs are identical to the Galaxy A07 that Samsung just launched. Same processor, same cameras, same battery — everything matches. Samsung often does this with their A and M series phones, though usually the M models get bigger batteries. Not this time around.
Price-wise, the Galaxy M07 4G is expected to land between Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 9,000 in India. That’s slightly cheaper than the Galaxy M06 5G which launched at Rs. 9,499 for the base variant.
Samsung hasn’t officially announced when the M07 will hit stores, but since the A07 is already out there, the M07 launch shouldn’t be too far behind. For budget phone buyers who want a large screen, decent battery life, and long-term software support, the M07 might be worth waiting for.
