Samsung just rolled out the Galaxy A07 in Indonesia without a big show, and that’s a shame because this is a real upgrade for budget buyers. You get a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD with a smoother 90Hz refresh rate, the Helio G99 chip, an IP54 rating for splash protection, and One UI 7 on Android with six generations of OS updates and six years of security updates. There’s also Samsung Knox Vault for hardware-level protection and, yes, a 25W charger in the box. Colors are Black, Light Violet, and Green.
Cameras stay simple and useful: 50MP main on the back with a helper 2MP sensor, plus an 8MP selfie camera. The battery is the familiar 5,000mAh size and supports 25W charging. At 184 grams, the Galaxy A07 keeps things light, measuring 164.4 x 77.4 x 7.6 mm. Storage goes up to 8GB/256GB, and there’s a microSD slot that supports up to 2TB, which is handy if you shoot lots of video.

If you’re coming from last year’s A06, the gains are obvious. That model used a Helio G85 and a 60Hz display, and it was promised only two OS upgrades. The A07 jumps to a faster 6nm chip, a 90Hz screen, and a far longer software roadmap, which should keep it usable for many years. That’s the kind of change you actually feel day to day.

Final thoughts
The Galaxy A07 isn’t flashy, but it nails the basics and then goes long on software support. For anyone who just wants a reliable phone that will stay updated for years, this is an easy pick at its price.
