Get ready for a phone that literally changes its look right before your eyes. iQOO has just officially shown off the color-changing version of its upcoming iQOO 15. This isn’t just a fancy new paint job. The company also confirmed a huge software upgrade, announcing that the iQOO 15 will be the very first phone to ship with the new OriginOS 6.
The official image gives us a clear look at the design. At a glance, it shares a strong family resemblance with last year’s iQOO 13. You can see a solid metal build with the volume and power buttons on the right side. The back has a familiar rounded-square camera island holding three sensors and an LED flash.
But the real magic is in the material itself, which shifts colors depending on how the light hits it. It’s a pretty neat trick that makes the phone feel more personal.

Perhaps the most exciting detail is the text on the camera module that reads “100x Tele Lens.” This strongly points to a powerful zoom capability. The iQOO 12 had a periscope zoom lens, but the iQOO 13 moved away from it. This text is a big hint that the iQOO 15 is bringing the high-end periscope telephoto camera back. For anyone who loves taking photos from a distance, that’s fantastic news.
vivo X300 models launching with OriginOS 6 on October 13th. The iQOO 15 will almost certainly make its debut before that date to keep its “first” title. If you’re in China, you can already sign up for pre-orders on vivo’s website and other major online stores. The official launch is just around the corner.
