Realme surprised everyone today by launching the 15T in India, and honestly, this phone looks pretty solid for the price. The company just added a third member to their 15 series lineup, and it’s bringing some interesting features that might actually matter to regular users.
That giant 7,000mAh battery is clearly the highlight here. That is the type of juice that can take you the entire day without having to keep searching for a charger. Realme claims you can squeeze out 13 hours of gaming or binge-watch YouTube for over 25 hours straight. Pretty wild numbers if they hold up in real-world use.
What is surprising is that they were able to make this thing quite thin. It weighs only 181 grams and is only 7.79mm thick, so it does not feel like you carry a brick around. The engineering team did solid work here.
Things become interesting on the display. What you see is a 6.57-inch AMOLED screen that is capable of reaching 4,000 nits of peak brightness. That’s almost too bright for daily use – more than that would be overkill in most cases, but it would make your screen readable even in the sun. The 120Hz refresh rate ensures all is smooth as the apps are swiped through or games are played.
Inside, Realme has a Dimensity 6400 Max chipset with 8GB of RAM. It will not be as fast as flagship phones, but it will perform its daily tasks. Depending on the variant you want, you can have 128GB or 256GB of storage.
The camera setup is pretty straightforward. There’s a 50MP main shooter on the back with an f/1.8 aperture, plus a basic 2MP depth sensor for those portrait shots. Up front, you get another 50MP camera for selfies. Nothing groundbreaking here, but 50MP should give you decent photo quality for social media posts.
One thing that caught my attention is the IP rating situation. This phone has IP66, IP68, and IP69 protection. That’s three different water and dust resistance ratings, which seems like overkill but hey, better safe than sorry if you’re clumsy with phones.
The software side runs Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15. Realme promises three years of Android updates and four years of security patches, which is decent support for a mid-range phone.

Here’s what you’ll pay for the Realme 15T in India:
There’s a launch discount that knocks ₹2,000 off these prices if you grab one early. The phone comes in three colors: Flowing Silver, Silk Blue, and Suit Titanium.
You can pre-order starting today through Flipkart, Realme’s website, or offline stores. Actual sales kick off on September 6.
The Realme 15T looks like a good option if you care more about battery life than top-tier performance. The 7,000mAh battery with 60W charging should satisfy most users, especially at this price. It’s not groundbreaking, but practical features can be more important than flashy specs.
