New iQOO Z10 Lite Debuts with Fresh Design and Updated Specs

New iQOO Z10 Lite Launched

New iQOO Z10 Lite Launched: The iQOO Z10 Lite just showed up again, and it’s not a simple color refresh. This version swaps chips, upgrades the screen, fast charging, and even adds stronger water protection compared to the Z10 Lite sold in India earlier this year. It also looks a lot like the vivo Y400 4G launched in Indonesia, which explains the AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 685, and those tough IP68/IP69 claims.

Below is a clear breakdown of what’s new, what’s better, and who this phone is for.

iQOO Z10 Lite Design & Build

This new Z10 Lite follows the cleaner, flatter design language of vivo’s mid-range line, with a slim body, dual camera ring, and color options called Taiga and Glacier on regional pages. The big story is durability: it’s rated IP68 and IP69, which means it’s built to survive dust, rain, and even brief submersion and high‑pressure water jets—features rarely seen at this price bracket. It also supports underwater shooting and wet‑hand touch, which is actually handy for poolside photos or rainy days.

  • IP68/IP69 water and dust protection.
  • Underwater photography support and wet‑hand usability.
  • Stereo speakers for louder, clearer sound in games and videos.

iQOO Z10 Lite Display

This model moves to a 6.67‑inch FullHD+ AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rate, 1,200 nits typical brightness, and up to 1,800 nits peak for sunny outdoors. That’s a meaningful jump from the India‑only Z10 Lite (Dimensity 6300), which had a 6.74‑inch HD+ 90Hz LCD. In simple terms: sharper picture, smoother scrolling, much better brightness, and deeper contrast.

  • 6.67‑inch, 120Hz, FHD+ AMOLED, up to 1,800‑nit peak brightness.
  • Older India model: 6.74‑inch, 90Hz, HD+ LCD, 1,000 nits.

iQOO Z10 Lite Processor

Inside, the phone uses the Snapdragon 685, a 4G‑only chip focused on stable everyday performance and efficient battery use. That means solid app handling, casual gaming, and good thermal behavior, but no 5G. The India Z10 Lite used the Dimensity 6300 with 5G, but paired with a lower‑end display and slower charging.

  • New model: Snapdragon 685, no 5G.
  • India model: Dimensity 6300 with 5G.

iQOO Z10 Lite Camera

On the back is a 50MP main camera (Sony IMX582) plus a 2MP depth sensor, while the front camera jumps from 5MP (older India model) to 8MP here.

Rear Camera

  • 50MP main (Sony IMX582) + 2MP depth, ring-shaped LED flash.
  • Underwater shooting features carried over from the Y400 platform.

What this means: sharper daylight shots, solid portraits, and better low‑light than basic sensors usually deliver in this segment.

Front Camera

  • 8MP selfie camera, up from 5MP on the India Z10 Lite.
  • Better video calls and clearer selfies, especially indoors.

iQOO Z10 Lite Battery

Battery capacity stays big at 6,000mAh, but charging gets a real upgrade to 44W (vs 15W on the India model). Expect full‑day use with ease, and noticeably faster top‑ups when short on time.

  • 6,000mAh with 44W fast charging.
  • India model: 6,000mAh with 15W charging.

iQOO Z10 Lite Software

The phone ships with Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box. That means the latest Android features and iQOO/vivo’s current UI perks on day one.

  • Android 15, Funtouch OS 15 at launch.

iQOO Z10 Lite Audio & Haptics

Stereo speakers are onboard, which helps with gaming, YouTube, and podcasts without headphones. Haptics aren’t detailed on official pages, but stereo in this class is already a nice win.

  • Stereo speakers.

New iQOO Z10 Lite Price

  • India (older Dimensity model): starts at ₹9,998 for 4GB/128GB; ₹10,998 for 6GB/128GB; ₹12,998 for 8GB/256GB as of August 12, 2025.
  • Russia listing noted with Taiga/Glacier colors; pricing not posted on iQOO’s site at time of writing, though local coverage mentions retail presence from August 11, 2025.
  • This Snapdragon model matches vivo Y400 4G hardware launched in Indonesia in late July 2025; pricing varies by market and wasn’t official in Indonesia at initial listing.

Final Verdict

If the choice is between the two Z10 Lite versions, this newer Snapdragon model is the smarter pick for most people who value a premium screen and faster charging over 5G. The AMOLED 120Hz panel looks better, the 44W charging is far more practical, and the IP68/IP69 rating plus underwater features are unusually strong at this level. The trade‑off is simple: no 5G. For users in areas where 5G matters, the Indian Dimensity version still makes sense; for everyone else, this refreshed Z10 Lite feels more balanced and nicer to live with day‑to‑day.
