Honor’s X7c 4G got noticed when it launched last October. Now, the company is teasing the next X7c 5G and gearing up for an Indian debut soon.
So, what’s new with the Honor X7c 5G? The phone will come in two colors: Forest Green and Moonlight White. It packs a solid 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which should be more than enough for everyday use.
The chipset is a new mid-range Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, which means the phone will provide smooth everyday use, and the battery will not drain too quickly. About its battery, the X7c 5G has a 5,200mAh battery with 35W wired charging, so it charges quickly.
The display is another highlight. There is a 120Hz refresh rate screen, which has a maximum brightness of 850 nits. Honor assures that it is an LCD panel, but with such a refresh rate and brightness, it’s readable in bright sunlight.
Durability gets a boost too. The phone claims “5-star drop resistance” and can survive a 3-minute washing test, thanks to its IP64 rating for dust and splash protection. That’s handy if you’re prone to accidental spills or dusty environments.
On the camera front, the Honor X7c 5G has a 50MP primary camera, a capable sensor that will take sharp pictures in regular conditions. Audio is also improved, with dual stereo speakers boasting “300% ultra-high volume” and Hi-Res Audio support, making it good for media.
Honor has not indicated the exact launch date, but according to the Amazon India teaser and some reports, the X7c 5G appears just around the corner. It’s worth considering when in search of an inexpensive, yet high-quality 5G phone.
