Poco F7 Confirmed Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and 7550mAh Battery

Poco’s next big launch — the Poco F7 — is right around the corner. The company has been slowly revealing key features, and now we finally know what’s running the show: the powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.

This isn’t just another spec on the sheet— it’s what will shape the entire experience of this phone. Let’s break down what this means, and what else we’ve learned so far.

What’s So Special About This Chip?

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 is Qualcomm’s latest flagship-level chip built to deliver super-fast performance without draining too much battery. It brings advanced AI features, faster app loading, and smoother gaming.

So whether you’re playing heavy games, editing videos, or just jumping between apps — the F7 is built to handle it all without lag.

Benchmark Score Reveals Its Real Power

Poco shared that the F7 scored over 2 million points on AnTuTu (v10.4.9) — that’s higher than many other phones in this segment. For context, anything over 1.5 million is already considered high-end. Flipkart even listed a 2.1 million+ score, which puts it firmly in performance phone territory.

Of course, real-life use will matter more than synthetic numbers, but so far, it’s looking promising for gamers and power users alike.

RAM, Storage, and Cooling: Built for Speed

The Poco F7 will ship with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, which means faster multitasking and smoother performance, even with lots of apps open. And it includes UFS 4.1 storage, which means apps, games, and files load up much quicker than older phones.

To keep things cool, Poco is using a 6,000mm² 3D IceLoop cooling system, which helps the phone stay cool during long gaming sessions or when charging fast. What’s cool is that this system is backed by AI-based temperature control — so it adjusts itself depending on how hard you’re pushing the phone.

Battery and Charging

Earlier, Poco confirmed that the F7 will pack a massive 7,550mAh battery — that’s bigger than most phones out there. This should easily last a full day, or even two for lighter users. It also supports 90W fast charging, so even with a big battery, you won’t be stuck at the wall for long.

What Else Do We Know?

So far, Poco has shown off the design, teased a limited edition variant, and mentioned two other versions of the phone that are coming at launch. But the full hardware reveal is set for June 24, and that’s when we’ll get the complete specs, pricing, and availability.

Final Thoughts

The Poco F7 isn’t just shaping up to be powerful — it’s aiming to be one of the most balanced performance phones in its price range. From the big battery and fast charging to the flagship-level chip and cooling, it’s clear Poco is focusing on what power users actually want.

If you need a phone that won’t lag, won’t overheat, and will last all day — this might just be one to watch.
