Moto G56 5G Launched

Motorola has just launched a new budget-friendly phone called the Moto G56 5G. This phone is perfect for anyone who wants a fast, reliable device with great cameras and a big battery, but doesn’t want to spend a lot of money. If you need a phone for school, work, or just having fun, the Moto G56 5G is a smart choice.

What’s inside the Moto G56 5G?

The Moto G56 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chip. This chip is fast and helps the phone work smoothly, even when you use lots of apps at once. It packs 8GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage. If you need even more space, you can add a microSD card up to 2TB. It has plenty of space to store your favorite apps, snapshots, and more

The phone supports two SIM cards (one physical and one eSIM), so you can use two phone numbers at the same time. There’s also a separate slot for the microSD card, which is handy.

What about the screen and battery?

The Moto G56 5G has a big 6.72-inch Full HD+ LCD screen. The screen refreshes at 120Hz, which makes scrolling and games feel smooth. It’s not an AMOLED screen, but it’s still bright and clear. The front is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, which helps keep it safe from scratches and cracks.

Battery life is great too! The phone has a huge 5200mAh battery. It can be used throughout the day without needing to be plugged in. When you do need to charge, 30W fast charging gets you back up and running quickly.

How good are the cameras?

The Moto G56 5G has three cameras on the back. It features a 50MP primary camera powered by Sony’s LYTIA 600 sensor. This sensor helps you take sharp, clear photos, even in low light. There’s also an 8MP ultra-wide camera for big group photos or landscapes. On the front, there’s a 32MP selfie camera, so your video calls and selfies will look great.

Motorola’s camera software is packed with cool features. You can use Auto Night Vision for better photos in the dark, Portrait Mode for blurry backgrounds, Pro Mode for more control, and 8x digital zoom to get closer to your subject. The phone also uses AI tools to make your photos look even better.

What gives this device an edge?

The Moto G56 5G is tough and ready for adventure. It has IP68 and IP69 ratings, which means it can handle water and dust. It’s also not too heavy—just 200g.

For music lovers, the phone has Dolby Atmos stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Enjoy your favorite music and videos with rich, clear sound. Other features include Google Assistant, ThinkShield security for keeping your data safe, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, and NFC support in some regions.

Price and availability

In the UK, the Moto G56 5G is priced at £199.99, while in Europe, it goes for around €250. You only get one option: 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Motorola hasn’t said yet when it will be available in other countries.
