Honor’s Magic8 Pro just showed up online in a clean white finish, and honestly, it looks pretty good. The leaked photos popped up on Weibo yesterday, giving us a solid look at what the company’s been cooking up for their October 16 launch in China. This comes about a month after we saw the regular Magic8 in that Sky Blue Glaze color.
The white version keeps that massive circular camera bump we’ve seen before. Inside that ring sits three lenses with “AiMAGE” branding stamped right in the middle. Honor’s clearly betting big on AI photography here. Speaking of cameras, the main setup includes a 50-megapixel primary shooter, another 50-megapixel ultrawide, and a seriously impressive 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. That telephoto camera might be the real star of this phone.
Inside, Honor packed in Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. They’re pairing that chip with their own RF and energy chips to help things run smoother. You’ll be able to grab it with up to 16 gigs of RAM and a full terabyte of storage if you need that much space. The phone’s running Android 16 with MagicOS 10 on top.
Battery life should be solid. Honor stuffed a 7,000 mAh cell inside this thing, which is massive by today’s standards. That gets backed up by 120-watt wired charging and wireless charging support too. The phone also gets 3D face recognition, which is a nice touch for unlocking.
If white’s not your thing, don’t worry. The Magic8 Pro should arrive in black, gold, and blue as well. The model number is BKQ-AN90 for anyone tracking that stuff. With the launch just over a week away, we won’t have to wait much longer to see if all these specs hold up.
