Vivo X300 Pro camera samples: Vivo just dropped a fresh batch of photos from its upcoming X300 Pro, and they give us a fantastic look at what this phone can do. The official launch is set for October 13, but these samples from the Changchun Air Show are a clear signal: vivo is serious about camera power.
The first set of three images comes from the main camera. It uses a 24mm lens with a very wide f/1.57 aperture. The pictures look crisp and full of detail, exactly what you’d hope for from a flagship phone’s primary shooter.

Next, we see a shot taken at 50mm, which is probably still the main camera doing a bit of a crop. After that, the telephoto camera takes over. The first tele shot appears to be at 85mm, which matches the lens used in last year’s model. The zoom then pushes further to 136mm. Honestly, one of the 85mm photos looks a bit strange. The cockpit of a plane in the background has some odd, almost artificial-looking details. It’s a small hiccup in an otherwise impressive set.
Where things get really interesting is the extreme zoom. The samples go all the way to a staggering 728mm, which should be around 30x magnification. Even at that distance, the image holds together surprisingly well. You can spot some digital sharpening if you look closely, but it’s far cleaner than that puzzling 85mm shot. The 400mm and 600mm samples in between show a smooth progression with minimal loss in quality.
For those who want even more reach, vivo plans to sell a Zeiss-branded teleconverter kit. This 2.35x accessory will work with both the X300 and X300 Pro, pushing their zoom capabilities even further and adding special snapshot and portrait modes. Based on these samples, the vivo X300 Pro is shaping up to be an impressive device for anyone who loves taking photos from a distance.
