Oppo has dropped the first official look at the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro — and they’re leaning into a cleaner, more squared-off camera island instead of the round module we’ve seen on recent Find phones. Oppo says the line will be powered by MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9500 and will launch globally, with the China unveiling set for October 16.
The company’s posts show four finishes: two titanium-style tones plus frost white and matte black. The new back finish has a soft, premium feel while cutting visual joins around the camera block. Screen sizes remain familiar — roughly 6.59 inches on the regular Find X9 and about 6.78 inches for the Pro — choices that balance one-hand comfort with a roomy display.

ColorOS 16 will debut on Oppo’s stage a day earlier, on October 15, and the Find X9 series is expected to ship with that Android 16-based build out of the box. Oppo is pitching better eye comfort and a fresh UI look for the new software.
On imaging, Oppo has renewed and extended its partnership with Hasselblad and confirmed work on a Hasselblad imaging kit for the Find X9 family — so the company is clearly focusing on camera quality this year.
Leaked sensor details are already floating around. Tipsters point to a revamped camera stack on the Pro: a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor and a 50MP Samsung JN5 ultra-wide are named, and some leaks claim the Pro will use a Samsung 200MP ISOCELL HP5 in the periscope module. These specific sensor claims are unconfirmed until Oppo lists full specs at the event, but the sensors mentioned do exist.
Bottom line: the Find X9 pair looks like a thoughtful refresh — same comfortable screen sizes, a new velvet-like finish, clearer camera styling, big batteries hinted at in the teasers, and a flagship MediaTek chip. Expect Oppo to fill in exact specs, pricing, and availability on October 16.
