Tecno says the Pova Slim 5G will land in India on September 4, 2025 — and it’s already listed on Tecno’s site and a Flipkart teaser. The brand is calling it the “world’s slimmest smartphone,” and Flipkart’s microsite teases the launch time and some key features.
The listing and early reports show the Pova Slim will lean hard on AI. Tecno’s Ella assistant will support Indian languages and offer things like an AI writing tool and Google-style “Circle to Search.” The Flipkart page also teases a mood light around the camera and a feature Tecno calls “No Network Communication,” which aims to let Pova devices call or message even where cell coverage is weak.
Specs being shown on the retailer pages and in press reports list a 6.78-inch, high-refresh curved display (144Hz), a 50 MP main camera, and a 5,200 mAh battery. Thickness is the headline: multiple sites are reporting a 5.95 mm profile, which is the number Tecno is using for its “slimmest” claim. Treat the exact measurements as Tecno’s official claim until the phone is in hand for independent checks.

A quick reminder: Tecno first showed the Spark Slim concept at MWC in February, a very thin prototype at just 5.75 mm that drew attention for its size. That concept helped set expectations for this Pova model.
One more point for context — Infinix’s Hot 60 Pro+ was just certified by Guinness World Records as the world’s thinnest 3D curved-display phone (measured at about 5.95 mm). So Tecno’s “world’s slimmest” claim will be watched closely when the Pova Slim goes on sale.
