Realme just dropped some pretty crazy stuff at their 828 Fan Festival in China yesterday. They showed off two wild concept phones that honestly sound like something from a sci-fi movie.
The first one? A phone with a massive 15,000mAh battery. That’s not a typo. Most phones these days have batteries around 4,000-5,000mAh, so this thing is basically three times bigger. Realme says it can run for five whole days on one charge and still looks like a regular phone.
The second concept is even wilder – they’re calling it the “Chill Fan Phone” and it literally has a built-in cooling fan plus something called a thermoelectric cooler. Think of it like a tiny air conditioner for your phone.
The 15,000mAh Battery Phone Actually Works
Here’s the crazy part about that huge battery – the phone is only 8.89mm thick. That’s barely thicker than most flagship phones today. Realme managed this by using something called a 100% silicon anode battery with way better energy density than normal batteries.

They’re claiming some pretty wild numbers for battery life. You could supposedly watch videos for 50 hours straight, record videos for over 18 hours, or game for 30 hours. In airplane mode, it might last three months on standby.
The phone can even work as a power bank to charge other devices. The specs leaked on Chinese social media show it runs a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip with 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage, plus a 6.7-inch display.
The “Air Conditioner” Phone Gets Weird
The Chill Fan phone takes cooling seriously. It has three different cooling methods working together – a huge vapor chamber, an actual spinning fan, and that thermoelectric cooler.
Realme says this setup can drop the phone’s temperature by 6 degrees Celsius while gaming. That’s actually a big deal because phones get really hot when you’re playing demanding games, which makes them slow down.
The coolest feature might be the back panel that changes color from white to blue when the phone cools down. They’re calling it “IceSense Ultra” and it sounds pretty neat.
Don’t Get Too Excited Yet
Before you start saving money for these phones, there’s a catch. Both are just concept devices that Realme made to show off their tech skills. They won’t be hitting stores anytime soon.
The 15,000mAh battery especially can’t be mass produced yet with current technology. But Realme did hint that they might release a phone with a 10,000mAh battery by 2026, which would still be pretty impressive.
These concepts show where phone tech might be heading though. We’re already seeing phones with 7,000-8,000mAh batteries becoming more common, so maybe massive batteries and built-in cooling will be normal in a few years.
For now, these remain cool tech demos that give us a peek into what our phones might look like down the road. Pretty wild stuff from Realme’s engineers.
