Nothing Phone 3 Launches in India with Bigger 5,500mAh Battery

The Nothing Phone 3 is finally official, and there’s already a buzz, especially for buyers in India. This time, Nothing has made some smart upgrades, but the highlight? A massive 5,500mAh battery for the Indian market. That’s bigger than what global users are getting and way ahead of last year’s Phone (2).

Nothing Phone 3 Design & Build

The Nothing Phone (3) keeps its signature transparent back, something fans have come to love. But this time, it looks even more premium. The aluminum frame is slightly slimmer, yet stronger. The Glyph Interface is still here, lighting up with patterns for calls, notifications, and even timers, but now it’s more customizable and brighter.

Nothing Phone 3 Launched in India

The phone looks clean, modern, and feels solid in hand. If you liked the Phone (2), this one will feel more premium without being flashy.

Nothing Phone 3 Display

The phone comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that delivers crisp Full HD visuals and a fluid 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. That means the screen scrolls super smoothly when you’re browsing or gaming, but saves battery when it’s idle.

It also hits peak brightness levels of 4500 nits, so outdoor visibility, even in the bright sun, isn’t a problem. Compared to Phone (2), it’s crisper, smoother, and just easier on the eyes.

Nothing Phone 3 Processor

The Nothing Phone 3 runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip. This chip is fast, efficient, and handles anything from day-to-day tasks to high-end gaming with ease.

Compared to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in Phone (2), it’s far more power-efficient and delivers smoother performance, especially during multitasking or heavy use.

Nothing Phone 3 Camera

Rear Camera:

The device includes three rear cameras: a 50MP Sony IMX890 main sensor with optical image stabilization, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope zoom for distant shots. Nothing has fine-tuned its image processing this year, and photos look more natural, with better detail even in low light. Colors are accurate, not overly saturated.

You also get 4K video recording at 60fps, with improved stabilization.

Front Camera:

The front shooter is a 50MP camera with improved HDR and better low-light performance. With better edge detection and less noise in low light

Nothing Phone 3 Battery

Here’s the big one for Indian users: the 5,500mAh battery. That’s 400mAh more than the global model and 800mAh more than Phone (2).

It uses silicon-carbon anode technology, which holds more power without making the phone bulky. Charging stays at 65W wired and 15W wireless, meaning you still get fast top-ups, even with a bigger battery.

Nothing claims it’ll easily last 1.5 to 2 days on a single charge with normal use, and based on early testing, that looks accurate.

Nothing Phone 3 Software

It runs Nothing OS 3.5, developed on top of Android 15. It’s clean and runs smoothly. No bloatware, just a few thoughtful features like smart widgets, smoother animations, and more control over Glyph lighting.

Compared to Nothing OS 3.0, this version is faster and more customizable, making everyday tasks easier and more fun.

Nothing Phone 3 Audio & Haptics

The stereo speakers have been upgraded for louder, richer sound with deeper bass. Whether you’re gaming or streaming, the experience pulls you in and feels more engaging. Plus, haptic feedback is sharper and more precise; typing or swiping feels more satisfying now.
