vivo X200 FE and X Fold5

vivo has officially confirmed that its two new flagships. The vivo X200 FE and the vivo X Fold5 will launch in India on July 14, 2025. These phones were already creating buzz globally, and now, Indian buyers are finally getting a taste. vivo will be releasing them with different colors than other markets, but the hardware and features remain identical.

Here’s a breakdown of what’s coming, why it matters, and what you should know before buying.

vivo X200 FE: Power and Simplicity in One

The X200 FE is built for users who want top-tier specs without crossing into foldable-phone territory. It features MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+ processor, which is currently one of the best for Android phones. This chip handles heavy tasks smoothly, whether it’s gaming, multitasking, or video editing on the go.

You also get a 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which means it looks sharp and feels fast. Everything from scrolling to video playback is smooth and responsive. It’s the kind of screen that makes daily use genuinely enjoyable.

Triple 50MP Camera Setup

On the back, there are three 50MP cameras, designed to cover wide, ultra-wide, and telephoto shots. This gives you flexibility — one for detailed photos, one for big group shots, and one for zoomed-in moments.

The 6,500mAh battery is another win. It’s large enough to last all day, even with heavy use. Plus, it supports fast charging, though vivo hasn’t confirmed exact charging speeds for India yet.

And yes, it’s IP68 and IP69 rated, meaning it’s dustproof and water-resistant, which adds peace of mind if you’re often outdoors or near water.

The phone will come in two India-exclusive colors: Luxe Black and Amber Yellow.

vivo X Fold5: A Flagship Foldable for India

For those who want something more advanced (and futuristic), the vivo X Fold5 is the headliner. It’s powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which is one of the fastest chips on the market right now.

Two Displays, One Seamless Experience

The phone has two screens: an 8.03-inch foldable display inside and a 6.53-inch cover screen on the outside. So, you can use it like a normal phone when folded, or open it up into a mini tablet for reading, work, or watching shows.

Just like the X200 FE, the Fold5 also includes three 50MP cameras, offering a premium photography setup. Whether folded or unfolded, you’re getting quality results.

It has a 6,000mAh battery, which is slightly smaller than the X200 FE but still big enough for a full day. And it’s rated IP58 and IP59, meaning it’s protected against dust and limited water exposure — pretty rare for foldables.

The Fold5 will be available in a Titanium Gray finish in India.

Final Thoughts

The vivo X200 FE looks like a solid flagship for anyone who wants power, long battery life, and high-end cameras in a regular phone. The vivo X Fold5 is clearly for those looking to try out foldables without compromising performance or build quality.
