Vivo has just unveiled its brand-new S30 series in China. This exciting lineup includes two phones: the vivo S30 and the S30 Pro mini. Both are packed with great features and come at prices that fit different budgets.
What’s New in the vivo S30 Series?
The vivo S30 is the bigger phone. It has a large 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with super-smooth 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. It uses the fast Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, which means it can handle games and apps easily.
The vivo S30 Pro mini is smaller but just as powerful. It has a 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED screen, also with 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. Instead of Snapdragon, it uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chip, which is also very fast.
Even though the S30 Pro mini is smaller, it has the same big 6,500mAh battery as the S30. Both phones support super-fast 90W charging, so you can fill up your battery in no time.
Camera and Other Features
Both phones have great cameras. They each have three cameras on the back:

- 50MP periscope telephoto camera (for zooming in far away)
- 8MP ultrawide camera (for wide shots)
The S30 uses the Sony LYT-700V sensor for the main camera, while the S30 Pro mini uses the even better IMX921 sensor. Both use the IMX882 for the periscope lens.
On the front, both phones have a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus, so your selfies will look sharp. Both also have fast and secure fingerprint scanners.
The S30 is IP64 rated, which means it can handle some dust and water. The S30 Pro mini is even better, with IP68/69 rating, so it can survive rain and even strong water jets.
