Motorola Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra Launch Set for April 24

With a new range of foldable smartphones, Motorola has made a comeback. Officially, the Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra will be on sale on April 24. These phones bring better performance, bigger displays, and more premium design.

Launch

Motorola confirmed the launch date via its official X (formerly Twitter) account.
The Razr 60 Ultra is set to be sold globally as Razr+ 2025.
In some markets, the regular Razr 60 may be known as the Razr 2025.

Design

The classic clamshell look is still here.
The Ultra model will come with a larger cover screen than before.
Expect a mix of finishes, including a bold red, a rich black, and even a wood-style option.

Display

  • Razr 60 Ultra: 6.96-inch primary display and a 4-inch outer screen.
  • Razr 60 features a 6.7-inch primary display with a smaller cover screen.

Both use OLED displays to produce clear images and rich colors.

Camera

  • Razr 60 Ultra: three 50MP cameras, including a selfie shooter.
  • Razr 60: 50MP main camera with OIS, an upgraded ultra-wide lens, and a 32MP selfie cam

The goal of both phones is to enhance portrait detail and low-light photography.

Processor and Performance

  • Ultra: Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (also known as Elite)
Includes 2TB of storage and up to 18GB of RAM.
  • Standard Razr 60: MediaTek Dimensity 7300X
    12GB RAM and 512GB storage

These chips promise smooth performance for apps, multitasking, and photos.

Battery and Charging

Both models pack a 4,500mAh battery.
Up to 30W wired charging is currently supported
Wireless charging details haven’t been confirmed yet.

Software and Features

The new Razr phones will ship with Android 14.
You’ll also get Motorola’s custom features and smart gestures.
The Ultra version might include a special shortcut button, possibly for Moto AI.

Reasons to Buy

  • Premium foldable design
  • Big, bright cover screens
  • Strong performance on the Ultra
  • High-quality cameras
  • Large storage options

Reasons Not to Buy

  • Likely expensive, especially the Ultra
  • Foldables can be fragile
  • Standard Razr 60 may not feel like a big upgrade over last year’s model

Pricing and Availability

Pricing hasn’t been announced yet.
The global launch begins April 24, with sales expected to follow soon after.
We’ll update with pricing once it’s official.

Conclusion

For foldable lovers, the Motorola Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra appear to be good upgrades.
If you’re into stylish phones with powerful features, keep an eye out for these.
The real test will be price and durability — but on paper, both phones look very promising.
