Infinix Note 50

The Infinix NOTE 50 combines a premium design with durability, featuring a sturdy ArmorAlloy™ metal frame and a slim profile that maintains a sleek look. With an IP64 rating for splash and dust resistance, it’s built to handle everyday wear without compromising on style.

Infinix NOTE 50 Design & Build

The Infinix NOTE 50 combines style and durability in the mid-range market. It rocks an Ultra-Resilient ArmorAlloy™ metal frame, giving it a premium, rugged feel without going overboard on the weight. At just 7.55mm thick and weighing 199g, the NOTE 50 feels surprisingly sleek for a phone that’s built to survive daily rough use. Color options like Titanium Grey, Ruby Red, Mountain Shade, and Shadow Black give users a bit of personality without shouting for attention.

The phone is also rated with IP64, offering protection against splashes, water, and dust. It’s not fully waterproof, but it can easily handle accidental splashes or a walk in the rain.

Infinix NOTE 50 Display

Display lovers are in for a treat here. The Infinix NOTE 50 is equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, offering a smooth 144Hz refresh rate for an enhanced viewing experience. That’s not something you often see at this price point. No matter if you’re gaming, browsing, or watching your favorite shows, the display offers a super-smooth experience.

It also hits a peak brightness of 1300 nits, making it easily visible even under direct sunlight. The 2160Hz PWM dimming reduces eye strain, making late-night scrolling more comfortable. Plus, Infinix includes an in-display fingerprint sensor, adding a touch of flagship-level functionality.

Infinix NOTE 50 Processor

The NOTE 50 has the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate chipset, offering solid performance. Built on a 6nm process, this octa-core chip (2×2.2GHz Cortex-A76 + 6×2.0GHz Cortex-A55) strikes a nice balance between performance and efficiency.

While it’s not a top-end chip, it’s strong enough for daily tasks, multitasking, casual gaming, and even a bit of heavier usage without making the phone feel sluggish.

Infinix NOTE 50 Camera

Rear Camera:

The Infinix NOTE 50 boasts a 50MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for sharper and clearer photos, especially in low light. That OIS matters a lot — it keeps your shots sharper, especially in low light or when your hands aren’t rock steady. Along with the main shooter, there’s a 2MP depth sensor and a Low-light sensor (LS) to improve night and portrait shots.

The camera offers various features like Vlog mode, Super Night, Pro mode, Dual video, Street Snap, and Sky Shop for AI-powered sky replacements. Video recording on the Infinix NOTE 50 supports up to 2K at 30fps, along with slow-motion at 1080p 240fps.

Front Camera:

On the front, there’s a 13MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture and an 82° field of view — wide enough for group selfies without needing crazy arm stretches. It’s decent for casual snaps, video calls, and even some vlogging thanks to 2K video support.

Infinix NOTE 50 Battery

Battery life is another area where the NOTE 50 stands out. It packs a 5200mAh battery that’s designed to retain solid health for up to 6 years. Infinix promises it won’t die out on you after just a couple of upgrade cycles — a big deal if you hate switching phones every year.

Charging is quick too, thanks to 45W wired charging and 30W wireless MagCharge support. Plus, it offers 10W reverse charging, turning your NOTE 50 into a mini power bank when needed.

Infinix NOTE 50 Software

The NOTE 50 runs on XOS 15, based on Android. XOS has grown into a pretty mature skin at this point. You get extra customizations, smart panel shortcuts, Game Mode boosts, and a generally smooth day-to-day experience without the usual bloatware nightmare.

Infinix NOTE 50 Audio & Haptics

Audio isn’t treated as an afterthought here. The NOTE 50 features dual JBL-tuned speakers, with Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Wireless Audio certifications for enhanced sound quality. Whether you’re gaming, watching videos, or listening to music, the sound feels richer and louder than most phones in this range.

Vibration feedback is decent too, adding a bit more polish to typing and gaming interactions.

Our Verdict
