Lava Bold N1, N1 Pro Launching in India with Android 14

Lava is bringing two new smartphones to India: the Lava Bold N1 and the Lava Bold N1 Pro. Both phones are set to launch in early June and will be sold only on Amazon India. Lava has already shared the main features and prices, so let’s break down what you get with each phone in very simple terms.

Design & Build

Both Lava Bold N1 and N1 Pro are made to last. They have an IP54 rating, which means they can handle a little dust and water. The Bold N1 will come in Radiant Black and Sparkling Ivory, while the N1 Pro will be available in Titanium Gold and Stealth Black.

Display

The Lava Bold N1 has a 6.75-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution.

The N1 Pro has a slightly smaller 6.67-inch HD+ display, but it’s smoother because it refreshes at 120Hz. This means scrolling and animations look much better on the N1 Pro.

Processor

The Bold N1 uses a basic eight-core Unisoc chip. The N1 Pro is a bit more powerful, running on the Unisoc T606 processor. Both phones should be good for daily tasks like calls, browsing, and using apps.

Cameras

Rear Camera

The Bold N1 has a 13MP camera on the back for everyday photos. The N1 Pro steps it up with a 50MP main camera, which should give you clearer and more detailed pictures.

Front Camera

For selfies and video calls, the Bold N1 has a 5MP front camera. The N1 Pro’s selfie camera is in a punch-hole cutout, but the exact megapixel count isn’t mentioned yet.

Battery

Both phones come with a big 5,000mAh battery, so you can use them all day without worrying about charging. The Bold N1 charges at 10W, while the N1 Pro charges faster at 18W using a USB-C cable.

Software

The Lava Bold N1 and N1 Pro will run on Android 14, giving you the latest features and security updates.

Audio & Haptics

There’s no special info about speakers or vibration motors, but both phones are expected to have a standard loudspeaker and a headphone jack for music and calls.

What to expect

The Lava Bold N1 and N1 Pro are good choices if you want an affordable phone with a big screen and long battery life. The N1 Pro is better for those who want sharper photos and a smoother display. Both phones are splash-resistant and come with the Android 14 software, so you get up-to-date features and security. If you’re looking for a simple, budget-friendly smartphone, keep an eye out for these models on Amazon India in June.
