Google Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL: Full Specs Leak

It looks like Google’s ready to launch another set of flagship phones. We’re expecting the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL to arrive next month, and now we’ve got most of the key details, thanks to some very reliable leaks.

This time, the upgrades are more than just cosmetic. There’s a newer chip, camera improvements, and better display tech across both models. If you’re curious whether these are worth the wait (or the upgrade), here’s a breakdown of what’s actually new.

The Main Changes You’ll Notice

Both versions are powered by the Tensor G5, which is Google’s next-gen chip. Compared to the G4, it’s supposed to be faster, more efficient, and better at running all of Google’s AI features, things like instant voice replies, on-device translation, and those automatic photo touch-ups Pixel users love.

The camera setup is nearly the same on both phones:

  • 50MP main camera
  • 48MP ultrawide, now with macro (can focus from 2cm away)
  • 48MP telephoto, also with macro (focuses at 10cm)
  • And a new 42MP front camera, which is a big jump from previous models

So whether you’re shooting a wide landscape, a zoomed-in detail, or just taking a selfie, the Pixel 10 Pro and XL should handle it like a champ.

Pixel 10 Pro vs Pixel 10 Pro XL Specs at A Glance

The differences between models come down to screen size, battery, and a bit of charging speed. But otherwise, you’re getting the same core experience.

FeaturePixel 10 ProPixel 10 Pro XL
Screen6.3″ OLED6.8″ OLED
Brightness3000 nits3000 nits
Refresh Rate120Hz120Hz
RAM16GB16GB
Storage Options128GB to 1TB256GB to 1TB
Battery4,870 mAh5,200 mAh
Wired Charging29W39W
Wireless Charging15W + Qi215W + Qi2

The displays are LTPO OLED, which means they adjust their refresh rate depending on what you’re doing. Scrolling stays smooth, but static screens (like reading) use less power.

The brightness is also worth mentioning. At 3000 nits, these are some of the brightest phone screens you’ll find in 2025. That means outdoor visibility, even in direct sunlight, shouldn’t be a problem at all.

Battery and Charging

The Pixel 10 Pro XL has the bigger battery, so if you’re constantly on your phone watching videos, editing, or even just working on the go, it might give you that little bit of extra comfort. The XL model comes with a 5,200 mAh battery, while the standard Pro sits at 4,870 mAh.

Wired charging is faster on the XL, too, 39W vs 29W. Not a huge leap, but it could save you a few extra minutes here and there. Both models support 15W wireless charging and now include Qi2 support, which is basically the next-gen version of wireless charging with better alignment and speed, especially if you’re using magnetic accessories.

Memory and Storage

Google has stepped it up this year when it comes to memory and storage.

Every variant comes with 16GB of RAM, so you won’t need to worry about apps closing in the background or sluggish performance. It’s more than enough for multitasking, gaming, or editing high-res photos and videos.

The real highlight? Storage options now go up to 1TB, a first for Pixel. That’s especially useful if you shoot a lot of video, store big files locally, or just don’t want to rely on the cloud all the time.

The Pixel 10 Pro starts at 128GB and goes all the way up. The Pro XL skips the base option and starts at 256GB.

Launch and Availability

While Google hasn’t made the launch date official yet, all signs point to an event on August 20, 2025. If it follows the usual pattern, pre-orders will open right after, and shipping will begin within a week or two.

Final Thoughts

If you’re already on a Pixel 8 or earlier, this year’s Pro models bring some very real improvements. There’s a smarter processor, a brighter screen, a sharper front camera, and useful camera tricks like macro support on both ultrawide and zoom lenses.

Not to mention, the 1TB storage option is something many Pixel fans have been waiting for.

The Pixel 10 Pro is a great pick if you prefer a compact, premium phone that still gives you top-tier specs. On the flip side, the Pro XL is for people who want maximum screen space, battery, and a little more charging speed.

Whichever one fits your style, the Pixel 10 Pro series looks like it’s been built with thoughtful upgrades that actually make a difference.
